Product Description

The Vulcan VCCB60 Gas Radiant Charbroiler is a large sized commercial countertop charbroiler that is part of the VCCB line of Vulcan charbroilers. The dimensions on this unit measure 15" high, 60" wide and 27" deep. With eleven 14,500 BTU burners, this commercial charbroiler has a total output of 159,500 BTU/hr and is available in either LP or Natural Gas types. Made of stainless steel with cast iron char-gradients and broiling grate, the grates offer the unique quality of having a pitched grease trough cast into the grate. This element provides for proper run off of excess grease and contributes to the reduction in the possibility of flare ups. An infinite heat control valve and standing pilot ignition system is connected to each of the eleven burners. The 5-1/4" grates provide the option of sloped or level broiling because of their reversible design. The area beneath the charbroiler remains cool due to deflector panels installed below each burner. These panels redirect heat towards the grates providing a more efficient function and utilization of produced heat. Home use is not the intended use of this unit, but in a commercial kitchen it is at home. Cleanup is simple and easy because of the single grease drawer located across the front of the charbroiler. 4" legs are provided which keep the unit at a proper height when placed on a chefs base or equipment stand. Sufficient ventilation and 6" clearance is required when installing this unit. For the best experience with this commercial charbroiler, please specify if the unit will be used at a location above 2,000 feet.
