With a thicker and deeper plate than competing brands, Vulcan's VCRG24-T's griddle increases production capacity and has more surface area, thus improving ticket times. It is equipped with an embedded snap-action thermostat, used on Vulcan's heavy duty line but the only compact counter line restaurant series with the feature. It provides more precision control than a surface mounted thermostat. The valve design helps to protect users by completely shutting off all gas to pilot and burners if the supervised pilot extinguishes.
