The Hobart HL400-1STD 40 Quart 1.5 HP Legacy Planetary mixers offers ease and efficiency in mixing. The single point bowl installation, and the swing out design make it easy to add ingredients, take out product and mount and remove the bowl. Hobart’s automatic time recall feature remembers the last time for each speed, making this mixer ideal for mixing multiple batches of the same product. And the 20-minute Smart Timer™ provides accurate results and eliminates over mixing. Patented Soft Start agitation has a gentle transition to higher speeds, reducing the chances of product splashing out.

The HL400-1STD offers three fixed speeds plus a stir speed, and the Shift-on-the-Fly™ technology lets your staff control speeds while mixer is running. Standard safety mechanisms are in place to protect employees and prevent injury. Height sensor, lock, and guard will not allow the mixer to start unless the bowl is at the proper height, and is securely in place. Ergonomic lift handle lets operator effortlessly raise and lower the bowl. Bowl guard is easy to remove—without tools. Sleek, rounded corners and very few seams make the HL400-1STD easy to keep clean and sanitary.
